We've Worked With
Who We Are
“When I started Innovate By Day in 2010, I saw an opportunity to facilitate conversation through social media. My 20 years working as a film and TV director/producer positioned me to create digital content that offered authentic, real-time engagement with communities.
Cut to today. We have survived the pandemic, and have grown stronger as a result of it. It had us reflect on who we are as a company, meaningfully lean into our values, and improve our communication workflows as a team. We are a fully inclusive company that employs and celebrates people of diverse identities and backgrounds all working collaboratively in an equitable, supportive, and accountable environment.
Over the last ten years, we’ve been fortunate to have extraordinary clients and experiences.”
Deb Day | CEO & Chief Strategist, Innovate By Day
We would like to honour the land that we are on, which has been the site of human activity since time immemorial. Innovate By Day’s head office is located on the traditional territories of the Huron-Wendat, Anishinabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and most recently, The Mississaugas of the Credit River First Nations.
Ontario is covered by 46 treaties and other agreements and is home to many Indigenous Nations from across Turtle Island, including the Inuit and the Metis. These treaties and other agreements, including the One Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, are agreements to peaceably share and care for the land and its resources. Other Indigenous Nations, Europeans, and newcomers were invited into this covenant in the spirit of respect, peace, and friendship.
We are all Treaty people. Many of us have come here as settlers, immigrants, newcomers in this generation or generations past. We are mindful of broken covenants and we strive to make this right, with the land and with each other.
