Innovate By Day is currently the on-demand team for Telefilm, extending their brand in the digital space.
In 2017, Telefilm approached us to help them achieve their mission of promoting Canadian filmmakers online. The relationship, which started with their Canada 150 initiative, Movie Nights Across Canada, has grown into a campaign that shines a spotlight on Canadian filmmakers through a wide range of initiatives. We continue to provide Telefilm with digital marketing strategy, live event coverage and on-site support, talent wrangling, paid ad campaigns, blog post creation and curation, video featurettes, sizzle reels, graphic content and websites.
Subsequent to our success on Movie Nights Across Canada, we have supported Telefilm across other initiatives like their Micro-Budget Production Program, Canadian Screen Awards Nomination Spotlights, Rendez-Vous Canada iTunes Store, Talent To Watch Program and the Talent Fund.
As of 2018, Innovate By Day has been helping to further the mandates of the government organization in the digital space as Telefilm’s digital Agency of Record. Since 2017, Innovate By Day has been very cognizant of Telefilm’s specific approaches to media as a government agency; our team has been careful to navigate the unique processes that differ from the private sector, as we’ve consulted heavily on the internal processes.
